The Tyrrell P34 stands out in F1 history for its unusual six-wheel concept, designed to improve front-end grip on narrow street tracks. At Monaco in 1977 Ronnie Peterson ran the car in the blue and white First National City Bank livery, and despite issues with tyre development the chassis and full engine cowling showed clear aerodynamic intent.
This 1/20 scale Tamiya kit recreates the P34 with attention to scale correctness, featuring an articulated DFV engine representation with ignition leads and photo-etched seatbelt buckles to lift cockpit realism. The kit also comes with a display base, nameplate and clear case for straightforward presentation.
