The Fairlady Z has earned a solid following among classic car fans. The 240ZG version from the early 1970s features the distinctive "aero dyna" front end, integrated bumper and spoiler, prominent overfenders and headlamp covers that set it apart visually. Introduced in November 1971 for the Japanese market, it was powered by a 2.4-litre inline-six that combined style with capable performance for its day.
This finished 1/24 scale model by Tamiya faithfully captures the Fairlady 240ZG silhouette. At 179mm long, 71mm wide and 53mm high, the replica is finished in Grand Prix White and shows the long-nose, short-deck fastback profile. The bonnet opens to reveal a detailed 2.4-litre inline-six engine with twin carburettors and visible transmission components. Metal-plated parts enhance the realism of the window frames and headlamp cover rims. The model arrives mounted on a presentation base with a nameplate and protected by a clear case.
