The Tamiya 22016 - TA08 Low Friction King Pin Balls are intended to refine the steering and suspension feel of TC-01 and TA-08 cars. These aluminium replacements for steel suspension balls lower un-sprung weight by roughly 0.4 grams per ball, helping the vehicle track more precisely.

Smoother suspension articulation

Low friction king pin balls allow the suspension to articulate with less resistance. The hard anodized aluminium construction improves longevity and stiffness, and they can be fitted at both the front and rear. Two sets are recommended to outfit the whole car and maintain consistent behaviour.

Compatibility and fitting advice

Designed specifically for the TC-01 and TA08 PRO chassis, these balls directly replace 7mm suspension balls and king-pins. For a full refresh, pair this upgrade with TC-01 C/D suspension parts (51663) and TA08 D suspension arms (51669). Remember each upright needs one ball top and bottom for correct installation.
