The Tamiya 22049 Oil Gear Differential Unit is designed for hobbyists who want to dial in axle behaviour. It works with both XV-02 and TT-02 chassis and lets you vary differential action simply by changing silicone oil, which helps you adapt to different track conditions.

Where to Fit It on Your Chassis

On the TT-02 platform the unit is suitable for front or rear differential positions so you can tune balance. For the XV-02 you can fit it to front, rear or use as a centre oil diff. If using as a centre diff, pair with Item 22050 (06 Module Spur Gear 70T) to maintain correct gear ratios.
