The Toyota Celica GT-Four is a milestone in rally history and a showcase of Toyota's motorsport development. From its debut in 1970 to the sixth generation in 1993, the model evolved into a capable and competitive machine on international stages.
Tamiya's faithful 1/24 representation evokes the GT-Four's performance pedigree. The road car featured a 2-liter DOHC turbo engine rated at 255 horsepower and a full-time four wheel drive arrangement. Super-strut suspension and ABS contributed to its rally stability.
This kit captures the Celica profile accurately, from lamp clusters to the rear aerodynamic wing. Components are supplied in black plastic with clear parts for windows and lenses. Modellers will value the rubber tyres and the detailed cabin and engine components for realistic finishing.
