The Tamiya 24308 kit presents a faithful 1/24 scale model of the Xanavi Nismo GT-R R35 that raced in the 2008 Japanese Super GT Series. It is designed for modellers who want an authentic miniature of Nissan's competitive return to the paddock.

Backstory and Key Kit Features

The real GT-R returned after five years away and scored a one-two finish at the opening round. Under the bonnet the race car used a 4494cc V8 NA engine producing in excess of 500ps. The kit mirrors the racing lines and offers options to represent either the No.22 or No.23 entry from that season.

Included Components and Optional Enhancements

Included are metal-plated roof sections, true-to-form slick tyres, and Cartograf decal sheets for crisp livery detail. Metal transfers cover emblems and mirror finishes, while extras such as nylon mesh and tyre marking decals are supplied. For added realism a separately sold photo-etched set can be fitted.
