The Gordon Murray Automotive T.50 celebrates Murray's engineering approach. Its handbuilt 4.0L V12 from Cosworth drives the car's performance identity. Tamiya has created a faithful 1/24 scale model that appeals to hobbyists who value assembly accuracy and true-to-life proportions.
The model captures the T.50s proportions and mechanical detail. Final dimensions are 181mm long, 77.1mm wide and 48.5mm high, increasing to 68.5mm when the engine hood is open. The V12 assembly includes fine components to reflect the real engine, and the large rear fan and its internal ducts are replicated to show the vehicles cooling design.
Builders can present the model with the gullwing engine hood open or closed. The side doors are fixed, while photo-etched metal parts provide realistic mesh on the rear bumper areas. The body comes as a single upper monocoque with black window frames moulded in, simplifying paintwork around the glass.
New wheel tooling and treaded tyres improve the kit's stance. Waterslide decals and metal transfers are included for crisp badges and graphics. This kit fits model makers who want an accurate display piece with fine finishing options.
