The Tamiya 25196 - 1/35 M8 Greyhound Armored Car Model Kit recreates the compact, fast light armoured car used during WWII, emphasising its reconnaissance duties. The well known 37mm gun and exposed turret layout are modelled to reflect the vehicle's scouting configuration.

The kit mirrors key technical traits of the original, such as the 110hp petrol engine and a top speed near 88.5 km/h. More than 8,500 examples were built between March 1943 and April 1944, and the M8 saw service with US forces and several Allied units.
