Overview of the Tamiya 30101 motorised M60 Super Patton

The Tamiya 30101 - 1/48 M60 Super Patton Tank is part of the Advancing Mini Tank Series and delivers a compact, realistic replica for scale enthusiasts. The model balances display detail with motorised function to suit collectors who like to run their pieces as well as display them.

Supplied pre-assembled and pre-painted with transfers in place, it is driven by a Type 130 motor and needs two R6/AA/UM3 batteries. Rubber tracks provide grip on a range of surfaces and let the model tackle slopes up to 40 degrees, making it suitable for casual play or diorama movement. The faithful proportions and finish make it a solid addition to any collection.

What power source does the model use?

Two R6/AA/UM3 batteries power the Type 130 motor. Rechargeable NiMH AAs can be used but check voltage and runtime expectations.

Is the model painted or does it need painting?
