The Crusader was conceived as a fast cruiser tank during the late 1930s and was fielded early in the North African campaign. While its mobility gave Allied forces tactical advantages, its armament and armor lagged behind heavier opponents. The design remained in use until follow-up tanks offered better protection and firepower.
This 1/48 kit from Tamiya reproduces the Mk.I and Mk.II differences, including turret shapes and machine gun fits. The die-cast chassis improves balance and museum-style presence on display. Track links are built in place to create a natural sag, and decal sheets provide three different vehicle markings for variety.
