The Tamiya 1/48 Churchill Mk.VII Crocodile offers modellers a tidy but accurate representation of this WWII British heavy tank. The Mk.VII brought reinforced protection and a 75mm main gun to improve battlefield performance compared with earlier versions.
The Crocodile modification is defined by its flamethrower installation in place of the forward machine gun. It operated with an 80 metre plus reach and relied on a fuel and gas trailer hitched behind the tank, a distinctive arrangement that changed how the vehicle was used tactically.
This kit is popular with builders who prefer compact but detailed subjects. The Tamiya moulding shows panel lines, hatches and the towable flamethrower trailer clearly, making it a good pick for tabletop displays and period collections.
