Upper Deck R — Designed for TRF421X Installations

The Tamiya 3404176 Upper Deck R is supplied for the TRF421 family, with listed compatibility to the 42391 TRF421X designation. Positioned at the top mount location, it functions as the upper structural element in the TRF421 chassis stack and is provided as a direct-fit spare.

Its main role is to anchor upper suspension links and to deliver consistent mounting points that are factored into chassis geometry decisions. During setup work the deck helps locate suspension and radio components without changing the layout of other chassis parts.

When fitting this deck, follow familiar TRF421 assembly steps: remove bodywork and radio components that block access, unfasten the current deck screws, swap the plate, then torque hardware to the vehicle's specification. Typical hex driver tools are all that are required.

For upkeep on the bench, clear mounting surfaces of grease and dirt and check thread condition and captive nut seating before final tightening. Keep original screws if they remain in good condition.
