The Tamiya 35100 British Churchill Crocodile C Tank kit offers a rewarding build for hobbyists who enjoy historical armour. This 1/35 reissue captures the character of the Churchill Crocodile, a flame-equipped version of the Churchill Mk.VII used to support infantry on the battlefield.

What Made the Crocodile Special

The Crocodile kept the standard 75mm main gun and replaced the forward machine gun with a flame projector. It towed a dedicated fuel trailer pressurised by nitrogen, giving a flame reach reported up to 82 metres. Around 800 examples were produced, providing a unique support capability in Allied forces.

Construction Notes and Display Tips

The kit allows builders to choose whether to fit the trailer, and the coupling offers natural articulation for realistic poses. The trailer features a maintenance hatch that can be posed open to expose tanks, valves and piping for added diorama interest.
