The Tamiya 35200 reproduces the German Wespe self-propelled howitzer, reflecting the machine adapted for the Eastern Front with its engine position and box-style gun housing. This static display kit delivers an authentic build experience aimed at enthusiasts who value historical detail and accurate finishing.
Introduced in 1943, the Wespe served as an interim artillery platform and remained in production into 1944. The model shows the 10.5cm howitzer mounted on a Panzer II chassis and includes functioning elevation and traverse elements. With in excess of 190 pieces, including detailed road wheels and suspension parts, the set provides a detailed project and comes with two winter-clad crew figures for diorama use.
