The Israeli M51 was a modified M4A1 Sherman that became important during conflicts in the 1960s, most notably the 1967 Six-Day War. This Tamiya 35323 1/35 model captures the conversion's defining elements, including the upgrade to the French 105mm CN-105-F1 gun which required a muzzle brake and counterweight on the turret. The original vehicle used a 460hp diesel engine and improved suspension to handle heavier armament and armour.
Tamiya reproduces the rough cast surfaces of the turret and upper hull with care, fits HVSS-style suspension parts and realistic T80 tracks, and supplies small accessories such as tools and jerry cans to complete accurate dioramas.
