The Tamiya KS600 in 1/35 scale recreates a classic WWII German motorcycle and attached sidecar for diorama builders and collectors. The model reflects the vehicle's practical design and wartime roles, with a focus on accuracy in small components.
Originally fitted with a horizontally opposed 2-cylinder 597cc engine and a 4-speed transmission, the KS600 combined a rigid pressed steel frame with manoeuvrability across rough ground. This kit mirrors those features to show the motorcycle's operational profile at scale.
The kit layout favours realistic assembly, with separate mouldings for fork parts, frame sections and engine elements. Engine head parts emphasise air-cooling fin detail, and the wheels are split into left and right halves with authentic spoke work for a convincing finish.
Finished dimensions are 71mm length and 47mm width, making the model easy to position in tight dioramas or glass cabinets. The set includes decals and three figure sculpts - a rider, commander and infantry figure - useful for creating small action scenes.
