How do I tell when a foam is past its best?

If the foam is torn, brittle, or compressed and wont regain shape after cleaning, replace it. Heavy discolouration and clogged pores also indicate replacement time.

Can I reuse the foam after cleaning?

Yes, foam cleans well. Wash gently, dry fully, and reapply filter oil from the included 4cc bottle before refitting to restore protection.

Is special oil needed for these filters?

Use a light air filter oil formulated for foam elements. The kit includes 4cc which is enough for several reapplications on the supplied filters.
