The Tamiya 41075 External Electric Starter Kit simplifies starting by replacing the traditional recoil system with a compact gear drive. Fit the drive shaft into the supplied gear unit and press the starter button to spin the engine for quick ignition.

Included Gear Units and Safety Circuit

This set contains both A and B gear units to match multiple FS-series engines such as FS-12SS, FS-12SW, FS-12SWG, FS-12LT, FS-12LS, FS-15LT and FS-15S. The starter features a FET switch and a safety circuit to guard against electrical overloads during use.

Preparation and Power Notes

Remove the existing recoil starter before fitting the gear unit and check that the body shell allows access for the glow plug heater and starter shaft. The starter requires a 7.2V battery and a compatible glow plug heater to function properly.
