For hobbyists aiming to sharpen handling on M-Chassis rigs, the Tamiya 42355 M-Chassis Big Bore Dampers are a practical upgrade. They boost grip and chassis control on short-damper touring setups and use HL cylinders alongside titanium-coated shafts to keep movement smooth and consistent.

Increased oil capacity, tighter packaging

The damper bodies are 0.5 mm wider than stock, providing about 10 percent more oil capacity which helps with progressive damping. At the same time the dampers are 4 mm shorter than many standard units, making them well suited to compact damper stays. The aluminium spring retainers and black metal finishing add durability and a neat appearance.

Stronger V parts for flexible setups

The revised V parts replace Item 54871 and offer more robust mounting plus broader setup options. Included are two yellow and two red springs so you can experiment with front and rear balance without having to buy extras.
