Tamiya TG10-Mk.2 Chassis: Modern Nitro Touring Platform

The TG10-Mk.2 takes the core ideas of the TG10 line and refines them for competitive nitro touring. It brings targeted layout changes that suit enthusiasts who want a buildable chassis with room for setup refinement.

Engine Placement and Mass Distribution

By positioning the engine on the right, the TG10-Mk.2 improves airflow paths and exhaust routing to help the engine breathe more consistently. Moving heavy items toward the centre helps lower the centre of gravity and enhances mid-corner stability.

Transmission, Dampers and Tuning Points

The kit is fitted with a two-speed gearbox for improved acceleration and top speed control, and aluminium TRF dampers for repeatable damping characteristics. The ball connector suspension and included rear stabiliser allow straightforward adjustments as track conditions change.

This is a chassis kit only; it does not include body shell, engine, muffler or manifold. It accepts a .12 rear exhaust engine with an SG shaft and needs a separate starter box to start the engine.
