The Tamiya 45047 Sensored Brushless ESC gives smooth, predictable throttle and braking feel for track and club racing. Designed to pair with Tamiya sensored brushless motors, it provides a range of tuning options to suit different surfaces and car weights.

Customisable Parameters for Better Lap Times

Adjust reverse cancel, battery cut-off, brake force and neutral brake to refine vehicle balance and response. These settings help you optimise acceleration and braking for tight circuits or fast straights.

Power Compatibility and Use Cases

This ESC accepts Ni-Cd, Ni-MH and Tamiya Li-Fe battery types for versatile powering. It is not intended for rock crawling or twin-motor builds and is best used in standard racing configurations.

Can I tune sensor timing for other motors?

The ESC is tuned for Tamiya sensored motors. While some adjustments may work with other motors, matching sensor behaviour is not guaranteed.

How should I set battery cut-off?

Set the cut-off according to your battery chemistry and pack voltage. Use the ESC's settings to prevent over discharge when using Ni-Cd, Ni-MH or Li-Fe packs.

Is programming required before first run?
