Introducing the Tamiya 47376 King Yellow 6x6

The Tamiya 47376 King Yellow 6x6 brings a playful school bus aesthetic to a capable off-road platform. Sized at 1/18 scale, the model is fitted with a ready-painted polycarbonate body and engineered for mixed-surface fun on local tracks and paths.

G6-01 Drivetrain and Frame

The G6-01 chassis uses a gear-driven 6WD arrangement housed in a monocoque frame for durability. This drivetrain gives consistent traction across uneven ground and offers stable handling for technical trail sections.

Handling, Steering and Dampers

Steering uses a two-piece tie rod setup for direct feedback, while the six independent double wishbone suspension with friction shock dampers evens out rough ground. For improved low-speed control, you can fit optional 4WS components to enable rear-wheel steering.

Painted Shell and Custom Fit

This limited edition comes with a Camel yellow painted polycarbonate shell and decal set so you can personalise the look quickly. Cutouts are provided for fitting your chosen electronics and accessories.

Tamiya 47376 is well suited to hobbyists who want a quirky themed truck that is simple to personalise and capable across a variety of surfaces.

No, the kit is sold as a body and chassis assembly with motor. You will need to add a radio transmitter and receiver, an ESC, and a suitable battery pack to run the model.
The polycarbonate shell is pre-painted and designed to withstand normal hobby use. As with all painted bodies, avoid abrasive cleaning and handle mounting holes with care.
Stock tyres are multi-surface friendly, but for heavy mud or loose sand use more aggressive tyres and consider lowering gear ratio for better low-end torque.
It works well for both. The pre-painted finish makes it display-ready, while the strong chassis and drivetrain make it suitable for regular trail and park runs.
