The Tamiya 47393 High Speed Gear Set gives TA02 owners a straightforward route to quicker straight-line speed. Included are two spur options, 66T and 69T, which reduce the overall gearing versus the stock 74T spur.

Compatibility notes and fitting tips

Made for the TA02 chassis, these spurs fit the majority of TA02 models but exclude Manta Ray and Top Force versions. Fitting is routine - ensure correct gear mesh and use the supplied fasteners to secure the gears properly.

Tweaking for race day

Selecting the 66T or 69T changes the drive ratio in favour of higher top speed, useful on longer tracks. You may notice less punch off the line, so tune your pinion, motor timing and gearing to match the circuit and battery setup.
