The classic Tamiya TA02 can be modernised with the Tamiya 47479 - 1/10 TA02 Carbon Chassis Conversion Kit. This kit replaces the original plastic tub with carbon upper and lower plates to create a rigid double-deck chassis, cutting weight and helping the car respond more directly to setup changes.

What this kit brings to your TA02

Included components are aimed at improving handling and chassis response:

Carbon Fiber Upper and Lower Decks: Strong, light plates that establish a double-deck layout while showing the Tamiya twin star badge.
Carbon Damper Stays: Front and rear damper stays to enhance shock absorber mounting and consistency.
Metal Components: Contains a front bumper support stay, aluminium spacers and a solid steering mount to reduce flex.
Additional Parts: Supplied with nylon bands, a caution label, double-sided tape and small hardware to complete the conversion.
