Track-Proven Transpeed MS (10T) by Tamiya

The Tamiya 49386 - Transpeed MS (10T) is designed to give steady, controllable power at racing speeds. The angled V brush geometry reduces bounce and enlarges the contact patch, which helps maintain smooth commutation and extends brush service life under demanding use.

Cooling and Electrical Neatness

Its precision aluminum endbell features a cooling hole that assists heat dispersion to keep temperatures in check during extended runs. The integrated inboard capacitor with LED makes system checks straightforward and helps prevent interference when running at the track.

Specifications

  • Brush Type: Angled V Brush
  • Endbell Material: Precision Aluminum
  • Cooling Feature: Built-in Cooling Hole
  • Capacitor System: Inboard with LED Indicator

Suited to racers aiming for consistent lap times, the Tamiya 49386 - Transpeed MS (10T) balances longevity and on-track performance for club and national events.

Very pleased with the service. I will order again soon. Thanks
Run the motor at low to moderate throttle for several short sessions, allowing it to cool between runs. This helps seating of brushes and smooths initial wear.
Check your class limits and ensure your ESC and gearing are matched to the battery voltage. Proper cooling and conservative timing help maintain reliability at higher voltages.
Look for thinning brush material, uneven wear, or increased sparking. If contact area is noticeably reduced, plan a replacement to avoid commutator damage.
The LED shows capacitor power; it is not a diagnostic for all motor faults but will help confirm correct wiring and basic function before racing.
