The Tamiya 50450 rear tyre pack is ideal for modders wanting improved traction on 1/10 scale off-road cars. Made to fit standard 2.2-inch rims, these tyres perform reliably on softer and uneven terrain.

Tread Design and Vehicle Fit

These rear tyres use a soft rubber compound for dependable grip and resilience. The pin spike profile incorporates two rows of "X" motifs down the centre to enhance bite on loose surfaces. Originally supplied for the Tamiya Stadium Blitzer, they can also be used as an upgrade on compatible monster or racing trucks with 2.2-inch rims.

Measure and Mount Guidance

Before fitting, confirm your rims accept a 56mm inner diameter (2.2 inches). The tyre external diameter is 94mm (3.7 inches) and width is 50mm (1.97 inches). Using properly sized rims ensures correct seating and helps avoid slippage.

Can I use these on a rear-biased truck setup?

Yes. Their pin-spike pattern gives rear traction on loose surfaces, but balance with front tyres for predictable handling.
