Lexus GS400 shell tailored for the TT-01 chassis

The Tamiya 51373 - Lexus GS400 Polycarbonate Body Set captures the GS400 profile and is trimmed for straightforward installation on TT-01 platforms, ideal for modders seeking authentic lines and a tidy fit.

Appearance, lighting layout and compatibility

The body is a clear polycarbonate shell marked for LED installation so you can add running lights or brake illumination. The front panel is arranged for four 5mm and two 3mm LEDs, while the rear panel supports four 5mm and six 3mm LEDs so you can plan a realistic lighting scheme.

Included are white H Parts for the mirrors, silver metal-plated J Parts for lamp surrounds, plus screws, nuts, decal sheets and masking seals to assist painting. Because of its specific roof and wheel-arch heights this body only fits the TT-01 series and is not compatible with other 1/10 touring car chassis.

Will I need to modify the chassis to fit this body?

No major chassis modification is required if you use a TT-01. Minor trimming of mounting holes may be needed to match your body posts.

Can I use the included masking seals for multi-colour paint jobs?

Yes, the masking seals are designed to block the windows and other areas so you can paint multiple colours cleanly from the inside.

Are replacement lamp parts available separately?
