Renew the look of your 1/10 Subaru BRZ with the Tamiya 51517 clear polycarbonate body. Sized for 190mm wide 4WD layouts, it works with TA06, TA05ver.II, TA05, TB-03 and TT-01 chassis that use a 257mm wheelbase, combining realistic lines with tough material.

Kit Contents and Fitment

The kit is supplied as a clear shell ready for custom paint. Included are separately moulded side mirrors, a sticker sheet and window masks so you can create detailed liveries and crisp window edges.

Do I need to trim the body for wheel clearance?

Some setups with wide tyres or deep offsets may need light trimming around the arches. Test-fit on the chassis before final painting to spot any clearance issues.

What preparation is recommended before painting?

Clean the inside with mild detergent, remove oils, then use masking tape and the included masks to protect windows. Apply light, even coats of polycarbonate paint from the inside.

Can I mount the mirrors permanently?

The mirrors are separately moulded so you can glue them in place after painting. Dry-fit first to confirm positioning and alignment.
