Replacement F1 Body Shell Tamiya 51522 for F104

The Tamiya 51522 - 1/10 RC Polycarbonate Body Set is moulded to suit the F104 chassis and provides a focused replacement solution for the F2012-style body panels. This pack targets the core polycarbonate components so you can service or refresh your model without replacing the entire body. The included driver figure and integrated air scoop add scale authenticity and aid airflow profiling.

What the 51522 Set Delivers

  • Material: Resilient polycarbonate crafted for track and club use
  • Compatibility: Engineered for mounting on Tamiya F104 chassis variants
  • Components: Body with air scoop and side pontoons for true F1 lines
  • Customization: Optional front and rear wings sold separately in black or white
  • Extras: Driver figure included for enhanced realism
The driver figure is supplied as part of the moulded accessories; it can be trimmed or adjusted during preparation if you prefer to replace or repaint it.
No, decals and the front and rear wings are sold separately to let you choose colours and styles.
Clean with isopropyl alcohol, mask the areas you want to keep clear and use paints designed for polycarbonate, applying them to the inside of the shell for durability.
The moulded air scoop is mainly for scale appearance and minor aerodynamic effect; it should not drastically change handling on stock setups.
