The Tamiya 51533 Subaru XV Body Parts Set provides a lightweight polycarbonate shell that mirrors the compact SUV look of the real Subaru XV while remaining RC-friendly. It matches multiple Tamiya platforms for straightforward installation.

High Quality Moulding and Fit

Moulded from durable polycarbonate, this body captures the Subaru XV lines and includes separate ABS parts for realistic side mirrors. A decal sheet plus masking stickers are provided so you can personalise the finish. It is compatible with TA06, DF-03Ra, TT-01, TT-01 Type-E, XV-01 and TT-02 chassis using a 257mm wheelbase.

Do I need special paint for this body?

Yes, use paints made for polycarbonate bodies for best adhesion and finish. Regular hobby enamel paints are not recommended without a suitable primer for polycarbonate.

How do I trim the body accurately?

Score the cut lines first, then use sharp scissors and a hobby knife for final trimming. Test-fit to the chassis before painting to check hole alignment.

Are the mirror parts durable?

The separate ABS side mirrors give good detail and are robust if fitted carefully. Glue or small screws can be used depending on your mounting preference.

Which chassis will this fit without modifications?

It fits TA06, DF-03Ra, TT-01, TT-01 Type-E, XV-01 and TT-02 configured to a 257mm wheelbase without major bodywork changes.
