The Tamiya 51637 TRF420 suspension shafts are built for hobbyists who want tighter handling from their TRF420. These parts replace older, thinner shafts and help stabilise the suspension under load.

Lengths and Build

Offered in 3x25mm and 3x22mm sizes, the shafts are made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. The move to a 3mm diameter over older 2.6mm parts gives a noticeable increase in stiffness.

Simplified Securing Groove

Instead of a flat locking surface, the new shafts use a continuous groove that makes grub screw fastening more reliable and quicker to adjust trackside.

Fits TRF420 D Parts

These shafts are compatible with TRF420 D Parts (Suspension Arms), Item 51639, ensuring they slot into standard TRF420 assemblies without extra machining.

Can I use these on a converted chassis?
