Race-Ready Arms for the TRF420 Platform

These suspension arms were developed for the Tamiya TRF420 chassis and are moulded from carbon fibre reinforced plastic to deliver firmer response and improved durability during competitive runs. The stiffer profile helps maintain predictable handling at speed.

Adjustable Lever Ratio Details

The Tamiya 51639 arms include aluminium insert points for damper mounting, providing the option to alter lever ratio with different insert sets (inserts sold separately). That flexibility lets you tune weight transfer and corner entry behaviour.

Designed for Improved Rear Traction

A 3mm rear offset on the rear arms matches the TRF420 shortened lower deck while keeping the standard wheelbase, improving rear traction and traction consistency through corners.

Compatibility Tips and Requirements

These parts fit TRF420, TRF419, TA07 and TB-05 PRO chassis and require 3mm shafts, available separately under Item 51637. Depending on your chassis, you may need spacers to align wheelbase after fitting the offset arms.

They are intended for TRF420 and TRF419 families and are broadly compatible, but check mounting points and wheelbase as older decks may need adjustment.
Different aluminium insert setups are available separately to change the damper lever ratio and tailor handling for various track surfaces.
Basic modelling tools and the correct 3mm shafts are usually all that is required. Ensure you have the correct screws and a torque-aware driver for a neat installation.
