Aluminium Pinion Upgrade for TA-04 Chassis

The Tamiya 53420 Aluminum Pinion Gear Set gives tuners two close-ratio pinions to refine acceleration and top end on TA-04 cars. Supplied pinions are 40 teeth and 41 teeth, produced from aluminium for a good balance of light weight and durability.

What You Get and How to Fit

This kit includes machined aluminium pinions plus three 3mm set screws and an allen key so you can swap pinions trackside. The low mass of aluminium helps keep inertia down while still delivering positive engagement with the spur.

Compatibility Advice

These pinions are made for 48P metric pitch arrangements. They are not always interchangeable with other makers even if marked 48P, so check gear pitch and tooth form before changing components.
