Low-profile 3mm orange lamps built for TLU-01 use

This accessory pack contains small 3mm orange LEDs intended for use with the Tamiya TLU-01 lighting system. The long 16" leads are provided so the lamps can be routed and connected to the lighting/control unit with minimal hassle.

Designed as compact indicator or panel lights, these LEDs suit signal, marker or decorative applications on scale RC models. The supplied exposed leads allow flexibility in routing through bodywork or mounting locations to reach the lighting outputs on the compatible unit.

For use with TLU-01, referenced as OP.912 OP-912 in product listings; intended to be used with the appropriate Tamiya lighting/control unit and associated harness connections.

How robust are the LEDs for regular running?

The LEDs are small and suited to indicator use; handle the leads carefully when routing to avoid sharp bends or abrasion. Proper strain relief extends service life.

Will moisture affect these LED leads?

The product is standard LED wiring; protect exposed solder joints and connections from moisture with heatshrink or sealant when using in wet conditions.

Are replacements available if a lamp fails?

The pack contains two 3mm orange LEDs. If one fails, similar 3mm LEDs can be used as replacements and rewired to the TLU-01 outputs.
