The Tamiya 53937 LED Light Control Unit TLU-02 is intended to enhance electric RC touring cars with a variety of programmable lighting effects. When combined with a pair of TLU-01 modules it can control as many as 16 LED sets, making night runs and display driving more convincing. The wiring and setup are straightforward and similar to installing speed controllers, so it fits into most hobby routines.

Lighting Effect Options

Choose from multiple modes to simulate real vehicle signals and reactions:

• Main Beams and Fog: Toggle between headlights, position lights and fog output for tailored looks.
• Stop and Reverse Illumination: Brake and backup lights operate according to transmitter commands.
• Hazards and Passing Beam: Automatic hazard functionality plus passing light sequences for on-road realism.
• Throttle Burst Flash: Momentary flashes linked to acceleration to add dynamic visual feedback.
• Alert and Indicator Patterns: Produce siren-like bursts or standard blinker control easily.
• One-Way or Alternating Flash: Set lights to flash in a single direction or alternate across outputs.

Note: Required accessories such as a transmitter, battery, a TLU-01 unit, and LEDs are not included with the TLU-02.
