Improve steering response with the Tamiya 54120 aluminium horn

The Tamiya 54120 Aluminium Horn is aimed at modellers who want crisper steering on M-Chassis vehicles. Tailored for high-torque servo savers, this aluminium horn offers reliable feel and consistency across varied Tamiya platforms.

Robust construction for regular use

Forged from quality aluminium, the Tamiya 54120 horn stands up to repeated use. The anodised blue coating helps guard against wear while keeping component weight low. It fits many Tamiya chassis such as TB-03, TA05, DB01, DF-03, TRF501X, TRF416, and TRF415, so it works for multiple applications.

How it fits and performs

Intended for M-Chassis installations with high-torque servo savers, this horn delivers precise servo movement and reduced steering slop during aggressive driving. The accurate machining supports smoother link motion and cleaner mid-corner corrections.

Just wanted to thank you very much for your excellent service and value for money I'm really happy with everything and would recommend any one to shop with confidence with you Again thank you very much
Potentially yes if the servo saver or output spline matches the horn. Verify spline count and centre bore dimensions on both parts before committing to fitment.
Check the horn and fasteners periodically for tightness and signs of wear. Clean debris from around the servo saver to keep movement smooth.
You can expect firmer, more direct steering feel compared with worn plastic horns, especially when paired with a high-torque servo and a correctly set servo saver.
