The Tamiya 54387 suspension shafts offer a practical way to reduce wear on moving suspension parts. The titanium finish resists dirt adherence and helps the suspension articulate more freely than standard stainless shafts.
The Tamiya 54387 shafts are suitable for use across a number of Tamiya chassis. They are used as rear suspension shafts on DN-01 and TRF201, with two pieces required for that application. For DB01, DB02, TRF511 and TRF502X the shafts can be fitted to both front and rear suspension assemblies, meaning four shafts are needed for full coverage.
When fitting the titanium-coated shafts, make sure suspension housings and seals are clean and free from old debris. Correct installation and occasional cleaning will keep the shafts sliding smoothly and help prevent premature wear.
