The Tamiya 54426 adapters make it possible to fit smaller 850 bearings into RM-01 uprights, trimming around 3.4 grams from the running gear. That reduction helps the car accelerate and change direction with slightly less effort from the drivetrain.

Where They Fit and How to Use Them

These plastic adapters are built for the RM-01 chassis and slot into the stock upright positions. Bearings are sold separately, and once installed the adapter lets the wheel spin more freely, which can be helpful when dialing in faster lap times on high-grip tarmac.

Can I fit these to non RM-01 uprights?

They are specifically modelled for RM-01 uprights, so fitting to other uprights may require modification and is not guaranteed to work straight away.
