Tamiya 54439 Suspension Weight Block (0 deg) compatible with TRF201 / DN-01  [54439]

This RC suspension weight block is produced by Tamiya as part number 54439 and is intended to replace the kit N3 suspension parts on TRF201 and DN-01 chassis. The 0 degree orientation increases mass ahead of the front suspension mounting points to influence front-end behaviour.

The supplied metal block and mounting hardware replace the original plastic N3 components to deliver a firmer front end and a small gain in front wheel traction without changing the suspension geometry. The assembled unit weighs in at about 30g as delivered.

Fitting is a straight replacement of the kit N3 parts on compatible TRF201 or DN-01 frames, using the same attachment points. No chassis cutting or drilling is required; use standard RC tools to remove and refit parts. After fitting, recheck ride height and steering trim before track use.

In setup work the extra mass and increased rigidity at the front alter grip balance and can be used to address understeer or to stabilise entry behaviour. Apply adjustments gradually and swap back to the kit parts if the changes are not beneficial.
