Sharper Steering Feel for XV-01

Replace the standard arms with Tamiya's 54451 anodised blue aluminium steering arms to sharpen steering accuracy and strengthen the front end. The anodised finish looks tidy and helps protect the metal during regular use on track and street layouts.

Simple Fitment Notes

These aluminium arms are made for the XV-01 and XV-01 PRO chassis and will fit an FF-03 once you add the Item 84314 FF-03 Chassis Upgrade Set. They are a straightforward route to reducing play in the steering linkages.

Is the anodised coating robust enough for frequent running?

The anodised surface resists light scratches and corrosion, but heavy crashes will still mark the finish. Functionally the arms remain stronger than plastic alternatives.

Will these change my servo requirements?

They are slightly stiffer than stock parts, which can increase load on weak servos. Use a quality metal-geared servo if you run at high steering rates.

Are special mounting screws needed?

Standard XV-01 hardware is usually suitable, but check screw length and fit. Replace stripped screws with proper grade metal fasteners where necessary.
