The Tamiya 54581 XV-01 Carbon Long Damper Stay adapts your XV-01 chassis for longer oil dampers, improving suspension travel and track-holding when the surface gets broken up. It is designed around CVA Mini oil dampers to keep damping compact yet effective.

Materials, compatibility and setup

Cut from 3.5 mm carbon fiber, this stay delivers high rigidity without adding unnecessary mass. It fits a range of XV-01 models including XV-01 PRO and suits body shells like the Lancia Delta Integrale, Subaru Impreza WRX STI Team Arai, Subaru Impreza WRC 2008 and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. X. When retrofitting to a non-long damper chassis, plan to install the 50519 CVA Mini Shock Unit Set II plus the 53974 TRF501X Setting Spring Set to ensure proper shock length and spring rates.
