If you want a firmer front end for tighter cornering, the Tamiya 54697 Rigid Separate Suspension Mount 05D is a reliable aluminium upgrade. It replaces the stock plastic mounts on TRF419, TRF419X and TB EVO 6 type chassis to give a more solid feel under load.

Lower Roll Centre for Fine Tuning

The mounts set the roll centre at 4.5mm, about 0.5mm lower than other common mounts, which helps with delicate handling adjustments. This setup is aimed at front suspension improvements and gives more predictable response on turn-in.

Compatibility Notes and Add Ons

Compatible platforms include TRF419, TRF419X, EVO 6 and TA-07. Swapping these onto a TA-07 PRO in place of the plastic mounts will noticeably increase suspension stiffness. For additional tuning range consider pairing with the Item 54617 spacers.
