The Tamiya 54949 Adjustable Ackerman Set is built to help TA07 drivers refine steering balance for different circuits. By swapping the supplied aluminium components you can adjust steering bias and achieve more predictable cornering behaviour.

What the kit includes and where it fits

This set supplies machined aluminium pieces including 8mm and 8.5mm pivot mounts plus an aluminium steering bridge. Fit the 8mm mount for milder steering or the 8.5mm for a livelier, more immediate turn-in. The distinctive blue anodised finish also tidies up the look of your chassis.

Compatibility is straightforward: it fits the TA07 and is also suitable for TRF419 and TRF420 chassis, offering a useful upgrade path across several Tamiya touring platforms.
