Bring 1/14 Trucks to Life with Accurate Systems

The Tamiya 56511 Multi-Function Control Unit (MFC-01) is built to enhance 1/14 R/C tractor trucks by coordinating engine audio, lighting and vibration so models behave more like their full-size equivalents.

Accurate Audio and LED Simulation

Featuring 24 sound variations, the MFC-01 captures different operational noises from ignition to air systems. The high-output LEDs replicate vehicle lighting functions including headlights, rear lamps and indicators for clearer scale presentation.

Road Feedback via Vibration

The built-in vibration function provides tactile feedback to emulate engine and road sensations, increasing immersion without altering driveline components.

Options for Custom Builds

This unit suits builders who want realistic operation and supports add-ons such as the Semi-trailer Light Set and Motorized Support Legs for enhanced realism and show-ready detail.

Fitment Advice and Required Equipment

The MFC-01 is intended for use with a 540 type motor commonly supplied with Tamiya kits. Installation may need simple chassis modifications like drilling; these are straightforward with standard modelling tools. Use a compatible 4-channel radio system that provides trim adjustment for best results.

Specifications

  • Scale: 1/14

  • Light Functions: 9 types using 20 LEDs
  • Optional Parts: Compatible with 56502, 56505

Excellent service. Very fast shipping. Product arrived in perfect condition. Price was cheaper than anywhere else online. Communication from seller was excellent.
Yes, it can be fitted to many completed kits but you may need to remove some components and create mounting points to accommodate the unit and its wiring.
The LEDs are provided as multi-output connections intended to be routed to the appropriate positions. Plan cable runs and secure them to avoid movement during operation.
Vibration is tuned to be noticeable but not aggressive; it should not harm well-assembled drivetrains. Ensure gears are properly meshed and secured before first runs.
A 4-channel transmitter that offers trim adjustments and conventional stick operation is recommended. Wheel-style transmitters without trims may not provide full control mapping.
