Realistic Amber Lighting for Scale Models

Hobbyists aiming for authentic scale lighting will find the Tamiya 56521 LED Light useful for reproducing halogen warmth on tractor trucks. The unit provides a convincing amber tone and is designed to integrate with Tamiya multi-function controls for neat installation.

Designed for Tamiya MFC Systems

The Tamiya 56521 LED Light works with the Pick-Up Truck Multi-Function Control Unit (MFC-02) and the Tractor Truck Multi-Function Control Unit (56511). These LEDs are not compatible with the Tamiya LED Light Unit (TLU-01), so check your control unit before fitting.

Small 3mm Amber Twin LED

Each package contains a 3mm Light Amber LED assembly with two LEDs fitted. The compact design lets you upgrade front or marker lights without major model alterations.

Mechanically you can install them, but they are electrically intended for use with MFC-02 and the 56511 control units. Compatibility with other electronics may require adapters or rewiring.
The kit contains a single assembly with two 3mm light amber LEDs, suitable for paired headlight or marker positions.
The 3mm LEDs draw minimal current, so any impact on runtime is small compared with motors and servos, but using a suitable resistor or controller is advised.
If you are connecting through a Tamiya MFC unit no extra resistor is usually required, but check your control unit documentation before wiring.
