Slide Smarter with the Tamiya RX-7 Drift Spec

The Tamiya 57766 Mazda RX-7 Drift Spec brings the RX-7 profile to the TT-01D chassis for a tidy balance of scale looks and drift capability. This RTR model gets you on track fast with pre-fitted lighting and drift-oriented parts.

Chassis and Handling Overview

The TT-01D chassis features a shaft-driven 4WD system that helps deliver stable slides. Independent double wishbone arms and coil spring damping give repeatable handling, while sealed diffs keep internal gears protected from dirt and wear.

Scale Looks with Practical Lighting

The hard polycarbonate shell replicates RX-7 lines and is pre-painted for an immediate head-turner. Fitted LED head and tail lights enhance realism during evening runs and can be expanded with the TLU-02 Light Control Unit for additional effects.

Drift Hardware and Setup Notes

This package includes a sport-tuned Type 540 motor, ball bearings, an aluminum heat sink for the motor, CVA mini shocks and short springs tuned for drift geometry. The narrow mesh wheels and Drift Tire Type D are designed to promote long, controllable slides.
