Classic Rally Form in Scale

The Tamiya 58446 1/10 RC Lancia Delta Integrale on the DF03RA chassis recreates an era-defining rally car with parts and proportions tuned for both display and driving. It brings a balanced mix of period detail and practical performance for varied surfaces.

A Snapshot of Rally Success

The full-size Integrale secured a string of WRC championships, and its late 1980s refresh added signature wide arches and a turbocharged 2-litre engine rated around 185ps. The model echoes those cues in its bodywork and stance.

DF03RA Chassis Dynamics

The DF03RA platform provides a compliant suspension range and predictable handling that works on dirt tracks and sealed roads. Fitted with white 16-spoke wheels and rally block tyres, the model is set up for mixed-surface running straight from the box.

Scale Accuracy and Finishes

The polycarbonate body mirrors the championship car, while separately moulded mirrors and rear wing improve realism. Fine details such as the metal-plated grille help the model look convincing on the shelf and on the run.

This kit is ideal for enthusiasts who enjoy period-correct rally replicas and a chassis that handles both loose surfaces and smooth roads with confidence.

A careful build can take several evenings depending on experience; expect time for trimming, painting the polycarbonate shell and installing electronics.
The rally block tyres and DF03RA setup make it versatile for gravel, compact dirt and sealed surfaces, so you can enjoy it at club tracks or informal off-road spots.
Use polycarbonate-specific paints and light coats, mask carefully for decals and allow adequate drying time to avoid runs or lifting.
For competitive surfaces, consider swapping to a compound matched to grip levels; softer compounds suit loose dirt while harder compounds are better for hardpack or tarmac.
Regularly clean gears and bearings, check diff oil and replace worn pinions or spur gears to keep performance consistent.
