Originally released in 1985 and reissued later, this Wild One celebrates a retro silhouette while accommodating modern battery options. The 1/10 scale kit uses a sturdy ABS chassis and accepts common Tamiya packs and low-profile LF batteries.
The suspension uses a fully independent double wishbone configuration with oil-filled aluminium shocks to tame rough ground. A traditional 2WD setup with dogbone driveshafts sends power cleanly through the gearbox, and shielded ball bearings help reduce maintenance needs.
The main chassis integrates FRP elements for strength, and the clear polycarbonate body is set up for custom paint schemes. Pin spike rubber tyres give competent traction on grass, gravel and dirt tracks. Included electronics like the TEU-105BK ESC and a 540-brushed motor provide a ready-to-run feeling once you add your radio and batteries.
Adjustable ride height and toe allow tuning for different surfaces and driving tastes. Keep in mind the kit does not include the 7.2V battery, charger or radio gear so you can select components that match your style.
For builders who appreciate period-correct looks with practical mechanicals, the Wild One delivers a fun platform to run, paint and tweak at local venues or casual meets.
