Bullhead Reborn for Modern RC Builds

The Tamiya 58535 - 1/10 RC Bullhead (2012) is a faithful reissue that captures the essence of classic tractor-style monster trucks while refining key components for contemporary hobby use. It appeals to collectors as well as drivers who enjoy building from a kit.

Vintage Truck Motifs with Metal Accents

The body uses metal-plated details to imitate air cleaners and exhaust stacks, enhancing the authentic truck appearance. Massive 165mm tyres give it a commanding footprint and help it handle loose and rough surfaces.

Agile Handling and Strong Traction

A twin-motor 4WD system combined with 4-wheel steering lets the Bullhead tackle tight bends and uneven ground with confidence. Its eight coil spring dampers help keep the chassis steady across varying terrain.

Kit Assembly and Electronics

This kit includes an ESC made for twin-motor setups to maintain balanced power delivery. The build process rewards hands-on hobbyists with a solid platform for customisation and on-track fun.

For builders who enjoy period-correct styling and a hands-on build, the Bullhead offers a durable kit platform suited to rough tracks and display collections.

Beginners can attempt the build but should expect a multi-stage assembly and some soldering or wiring; prior kit experience makes the process much smoother.
Use TS synthetic lacquer or another paint formulated for ABS plastic to get a durable finish and good coverage on the Bullhead body.
No receiver or servo is supplied; you will need your own radio gear and a compatible servo to complete steering and control functions.
Lighting is not fitted from the factory, but there is space to install LED units and light buckets if you want to create a showpiece truck.
