Refining the M-05 for Tight Tracks

The M-05 platform has been popular since 2009 for its compact, easy-to-tune layout. The Tamiya M-05 Ver.II PRO refines that concept by integrating layout improvements and suspension upgrades drawn from touring car designs, producing a more controlled on-track feel for close-quarters racing.

Centralised Weight for Sharper Turn-in

By moving the motor 4.5mm closer to centre and fitting an aluminium motor mount, the Ver.II PRO sharpens weight distribution and rotation. The reinforced resin arms at both ends increase steering precision and responsiveness on corner entry.

Meaningful Option Parts Included

Option components in the kit lower the centre of gravity and stabilise handling. Notable parts include an aluminium steering post, an aluminium horn for the Hi-Torque Servo Saver and full ball bearings. The DF-03 Heat Sink Bar Set helps with heat management, while the aluminium turnbuckle steering rod and CVA oil-filled shocks aid consistent handling.

Compact Design with Practical Upgrades

The semi-gloss black plated main frame allows an 8mm lower servo mounting position for low-profile servos and presents a tidy appearance. Included semi-gloss black plated wheels and the blue aluminium servo mount add a functional, finished look.
